As part of this year’s Heritage Open Days, audiences are invited to enjoy a unique afternoon at Wenlock Abbey with acclaimed impressionist, comedian and pianist Alistair McGowan.

The event begins at 2:30 with a short guided tour of the historic Abbey, offering visitors the chance to explore the remarkable heritage and atmosphere of this extraordinary venue.

Guests will then move into the Great Hall for a 50 minute performance from Alistair McGowan and his wife, the celebrated singer Charlotte Page. Accompanied by pianist Lana Bode, they bring us their personal selection of some of the popular songs and the rarely-heard poems of the great Noel Coward in a poignant, amusing and romantic show. Think you know Coward ? Think again!
This special Heritage Open Days event is free to attend, however, advanced booking is essential as capacity is limited to just 40 guests.

The event will start at 2:30pm.  Entry will be from the front gate of Wenlock Abbey (in the Bullring) from 2:00pm. (please note, there will be NO entry after 2:30pm). There is a short walk up to the Abbey, and, being an ancient house, surfaces and steps are uneven and doors narrow. Regrettably it is not wheelchair friendly.

Gates open 14:00

Event 14:30 ~16:30

Just 40 places available.
